Where do I begin to express my sheer disappointment and boredom from this game? I HAD to do the gaming community a service as I JUST finished the game and needed to help anyone out who is considering buying this "I'm-13-years-old" puzzle. I expected some kind of excitement to happen, especially since this game takes place in a dark house during a thunderstorm. There were constant creepy clues that lead to nowhere and the narrative is basic and uninspiring to say the least. This game is perfect for an angsty teenager trying to figure out life and needs to kill two hours whilst avoiding schoolwork or the essay due tomorrow. The conclusion of the game failed to deliver any presupposed notions of suspense or excitement that is given by the thematic elements delivered when first beginning the game (i.e. creeky noises, pelting rain on the windows, big dark empty house, belongings strewn about, 1am timetable, notes, messages, etc...). I thought there would be a little more mystery or suspense since the game's description is telling you that. But trust me...it's not the mystery you will care even remotely about (considering that I guessed the ending twenty minutes in, thinking there was a more important narrative to discover). Basically, you go about collecting clues just to end up with an "are you kidding me, can I get a refund?" reaction at the end. It looks pretty though. I actually had more fun writing this review than playing the game...so there's that. If you are thinking about getting this game and you're still wondering where my rant leads you to believe...don't. 2021-03-14T05:52:09.982431 1 1
